Poems and Songs of Robert Burns - The Solemn League And Covenant

the solemn league and covenant
    the solemn league and covenant
    now brings a smile, now brings a tear;
    but sacred freedom, too, was theirs:
    if thou'rt a slave, indulge thy sneer.
